The Visitor Kiosk, originally built by the State in 2000, was redesigned and refurbished in 2021 by the Foundation and financed through grants from Parks & Trails New York, the Nadon Trust, the Foundation and the State. Local architect Eduardo Lacroze donated the redesign plans. Visitors now enjoy new digital and static displays, paired with quick response (QR) codes that offer a moreinteractive experience. The $60,000 project honors Anne Coneys and Gordon “Skip” Hargraves, Foundation Board members who inspired the project at the outset of the design.
